Excellent results and a very positive outcome have characterized the participation of Askoll Sei to the 36th edition of EXPOCOMFORT exhibition in Milan.
Consistent with the plan to extend the range of circulation pumps for domestic application, Askoll Sei presented preview ENERGY SAVING, an ultra-compact design pump, which provide superior energy efficiency and a user-friendly interface.
Energy Saving is a variable speed pump with Permanent Magnet motor; at equal hydraulic performance, it absorbs less electricity up to 80%, with obvious economic benefits and great advantages for the environment: if Energy Saving becomes a standard for the heating market, replacing the circulators already installed - over 100 million in Europe -, more than 60% of electricity currently used, corresponding to more than 30 TWh per year, would be saved.
According to recent studies, the average household consumption of electricity of a Italian family is 3,000 kWh per year.
