The rotor never jam - The special, Askoll-patented ‘square chamber’ eliminates any possibility of the rotor stopping.

Any impurities inside the rotor chamber can escape into special areas derived from the chamber itself.

Despite this construction feature being enough in itself to ensure perfect operation even after months of standing idle, there are other factors that guard against the most remote possibility of jamming:

1- the operating characteristics of the synchronous motor allow for a larger gap between rotor and rotor chamber, compared to what is possible in an asynchronous motor without reducing output.

2- being a permanent magnet, the rotor is less subject to limestone deposits than traditional metal motors.

3- the ‘intelligent’ electronics can sense any rotation difficulties: in such circumstances the motor is turned over several times at a higher torque than in traditional motors
